August, 2007 – Present: Working in Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kolkata A New Jersey based Multinational Company listed in NASDAQ

Designation: Programmer Analyst & Developer

  • Presently working in the Salesforce.com competency in the Client Relationship Management (CRM), since November 2007 for the client MetLife, on a project titled ‘OIM Database Development’ (Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3) which deals with the contact management of all outside money manager attached with different firms and funds. Salesforce.com which is hosted application and leader in on-demand technology provides the back end infrastructures.
  • Responsible for requirement gathering, proposal writing and reviewing, development and Maintenances. 
  • Enhancement and bug fixing of programs and analyzing the system to improve performance.
  • Responsible for train the entry level trainees about On-Demand Technology and Java.
  • Construction of the Test Cases, Unit test, System test and helping the client in Acceptance testing

Appointments & Volunteer Contributions:

2009 – Present: Appointed as Online Editor of ‘ACM Crossroads’ – the journal of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM); world’s largest educational and scientific computing society.

2009 – Present: Working as an active translator and contributor for Wikimedia Foundation and its local project.

2008 – Present: Working on Mozilla Foundation Bengali Localization and Support Project and involved in authoring, editing and reviewing articles for Mozilla Support Community.

Project Works

2009 (Ongoing): Currently contributing in an open source project on developing Blue Writer – a Java word processor under GNU General Public License (GPL) based on Java Swing Interface. I am responsible for documenting and writing user manual of the software.

2007: A project on “SENSOR NETWORKS” where a distributed, randomized clustering algorithm to organize the sensors in a wireless sensor network into clusters has been proposed.

2007: A project titled “DIGITAL WATERMARKING USING MULTIRESOLUTION ANALYSIS” where the proposed watermarking architecture describes an oblivious data hiding technique in the wavelet domain.

2006-2007: Design the data base for a Germany based Shipping and Mining Company under the guidance of “DataPro InfoWorld” as a live industrial project.

2006: Design and Implement an “ENCRYPTION AND DECRYPTION ENGINE” on the principle of Stream Ciphers which able to encrypt and decrypt data on the basis of LFSR-based Stream Ciphers.

 Publications and Articles

2009: An article on ‘Cryptology’ describing “the Design and Implementation of an “ENCRYPTION AND DECRYPTION ENGINE” on the principle of Stream Ciphers which able to encrypt and decrypt data on the basis of LFSR-based Stream Ciphers”, reviewed and published in Hamilton Institute online journal on 24 January 2009.
